Jeep Wrangler Hemi Is Not Just a Concept…

The Jeep Wrangler Hemi is no longer just a concept vehicle, this is going to be the next model that Jeep brings to life. In this article we will explain everything we know and when you can expect to see this Hemi Jeep Wrangler on the lot and how much you can expect to pay for the beast of a Jeep Wrangler.

Hemi Jeep Wrangler Specs

After the big debut of the 2021 Ford Bronco, Jeep came to life with a concept of its own that the Jeep fan base has been waiting for. A 392 cubic inch Hemi motor in the fan-favorite Jeep Wrangler has been on the minds of Jeep and Jeep fans for the last several years. With all the aftermarket Hemi swaps that have been done in the past year, Jeep has finally decided to take on this task themselves and provide Jeep customers the chance to purchase this directly from the factory with a full warranty! With 450hp and 450 LB feet of torque, this Hemi Jeep Wrangler is going to be a monster on the road with a 0-60 in 5 seconds or less… Yea, you read that right. Jeep is finally embracing the full power of their Hemi motor and giving the Wrangler the get-up and go that all Jeep owners have been searching for.

The Hemi Jeep Wrangler will roll straight off the showroom floor with 37 inch Falken WildPeak Mud Terrain tires and 3.73 gears to help you get the most of that 8-speed automatic transmission. A 2 mode exhaust will allow you to switch between a quieter mode and when you’re ready to turn some heads, all you have to do is press a button and the exhaust comes to life. For all the Jeep Wrangler owners who know how 37-inch tires can create a problem with rubbing, Jeep decided to go with a 2 inch Mopar lift, coupled with Fox monotube shocks for all those who really like to get out on the trails and get all you can out of your Jeep Wrangler. Jeep is also giving you the option of 17-inch wheels with an optional beadlock that comes to you straight from the factory.

Earlier this week, Ford dropped the hammer by claiming best in class, factory approach, break-over and departure angles. Well, that was short-lived because the 2021 Jeep Hemi Wrangler will have a monster 51.6-degree approach angle, 29.5-degree breakover angle, and a massive 40.1-degree departure angle. Jeep also boasts 13.3 inches of clearance that destroys the new Ford Broncos 11.6 inch ground clearance rating. For those of us who love a good water crossing, Jeeps Wrangler Hemi has 34 inches of water fording ability which is up from 31.5 inches in the current Rubicon model wrangler.

With all that going on under the hood, Jeep has also said they will be adding a steering wheel that resembles the Gladiator Mojave steering wheel, which is a much more beefy version then what’s in the current Jeep Wranglers.

The Jeep Wrangler Hemi is said to be a possible 2021 release, but the price of this monster of a Jeep Wrangler has yet to be known. We can assume that there will be around a $10,000 increase in price from the current MSRP of the 2020 JL Rubicon. For all of us in the Jeep community, this has been a much-anticipated option and once this is available for purchase I would have to imagine Ford will tune that 2.7L EcoBoost motor to push the horsepower of the Bronco up near what we see out of the Raptor, but as of now Jeep is still winning the off-road battle.
